Busking Jobs in Maidenhead – Paid

The managers of a Craft and Leisure village in Maidenhead, Berkshire are looking for some buskers to entertain shoppers on a regular basis at the venue. They’re looking for musicians to perform in a designated courtyard area of the centre, to create an atmosphere similar to that of Covent Garden in London.

Opportunities to perform are available on a regular basis from Easter 2009. This job is paid, with the opportunity to claim any expenses for getting to the venue as well.  To register your interest, find out more about the job and negotiate a fee, get in touch with Rudi on 07956 623 198.

Can perforformers still collect from the public on top of your fee? Or are you looking for musicians who are prepared to perform below the recognised musicians union rate?

Hi Dave – as all the opportunities on Musical Busker come from different external event organisers, it’s best to get in touch with them directly if you have any questions. Thanks!

I would be interested to hear if anyone has applied to London Transport for a licence and has been successful. I had an audition in June 2010 but was not successful. I played ‘America’ from West Side Story on the oboe and Top of the Word by the Carpenters on the soprano saxophone. I would be interested to know what a successful candidate played and if my choice of music might have not been suitable for the panel. I got absolutely no feedback from the panel which I feel would have made a difference so I would know where I could improve for a future audition. Anybody’s advice would be most appreciated.
    Thanks

    Penny Turner
